Doug's available programs

Doug Berky's programming runs the gamut from circus schtick to exploration of historical characters with masks. A typical performance (if there is such a thing) combines clowning and mime, mask work, circus and meditative explorations.

NO SHOW is Doug's signature piece. A performance has been scheduled but the actor fails to show - or does he? What might happen when a lone spectator unwittingly finds himself on stage and explores the props and masks left there? Take an empty stage with a captive audience and introduce the mask/mime/circus antics of a passing fool and you have an hour of uproarious entertainment

KAIROS ("ki' ros: the Hour") The Life of Jesus Christ told in mask, movement and story. Doug Berky takes his audience on a journey to the first century AD, when a baby was born into a hostile world looking for a conquering messiah. This child grew into the most remarkable personage in the history of the world, the world that He in fact created, the world that would crucify him.
