PSALMS BY CANDLELIGHT
Incorporates music and the poetry of the Psalms to provide an atmosphere
of intimacy and to give the audience a feeling of what it was like when the Psalms
were spoken for the first time. Through a combination of "greatest hits"
and a few surprises, Key's selection and delivery will cover the spectrum of human
experience and emotions and bring out the many scriptural moods of the Psalms
from the angry and argumentative to the beautiful and even humorous. Length:
Thirty to Ninety Minutes. Set
Required: Lectern and as many candles as possible. Special
Production Note: Key can collaborate with community musicians or dancers to
enhance the performance and residency.
